After School Program Grades K-6

GUIDELINES & PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Long Lake Central School’s After School Program will be available for students in grades K-6 from 2:45 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday on days when school is in session.

The weekly sign-up form must be turned into the LLCS Business Office every Monday morning by 9 a.m. Phone calls, text messages, and/or emails to sign up your child for ASP will not be accepted at this time. Please note that students will not be allowed to sign up for that week’s ASP after the Monday morning deadline.

Students who attend ASP will not be allowed to take the 3:30 p.m. bus home. In order to be released early from ASP students will need to have their parent(s)/guardian(s) or an approved adult on their registration form come to school and sign them out. A 4:30 p.m. bus home will be provided for students who live in Long Lake. The bus driver will drop your child off even if an adult is not seen. Please be sure that an adult is home, but also have an emergency procedure in place for your child in the event that no one is home.  Occasionally the 4:30 bus may not be available. ASP will be canceled on these days and parents of children in ASP will be alerted. Please have alternate care available in the event that this should happen. If your child participates in elementary sports or is a 6th grade student who attends After School Study Hall, they can join ASP at 3:30 p.m.

Please send appropriate seasonal clothing for your child to wear. Students will be going outside on most days. For the safety of your child, they must be dressed appropriately for the weather.
