Physical Education/Health Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome to another wonderful school year! I am proud to be returning as your Physical Education and Health teacher for the 23'-24' school year! During Physical Education classes, I plan to have my students work on a variety of sports related skills, as well as understand strategic concepts for various games and activities. My goal is to have everybody gain an appreciation of the importance of physical activity, as well as learning the valuable social and coping skills that come with competition. I hope that students can pick activities out from various lessons and apply them outside of the school setting to promote life long fitness and people skills that will undoubtedly carry over for the rest of their lives! Health classes will be learning about various facets of physical health, mental health, and social health, and will learn to apply the information we cover through the text into their everyday lives. I am incredibly excited and proud to be a teacher in this wonderful district, and I cannot wait for this year! I am looking forward to working with all of you!

Sincerely,

Mr. Chambers
