Meet the Teacher
Welcome to first and second grade!! My name is Mrs. Pooler and I am the first and second grade teacher at Long Lake Central School. I graduated with a BA in Sociology from SUNY Potsdam and began my career in the field of Human Services working with elderly and children with special needs. I later returned to school and obtained certifications in Elementary Education (Pre-K to Grade 6) and Literacy (Birth to Grade 12). I have twenty years of teaching experience. In my free time, I enjoy reading and many of the outdoor activities that the Adirondacks have to offer such as skiing, mountain climbing, hiking, swimming, and biking. As always, I look forward to a positive year filled with growth, motivation, and a love of learning!
