In Kindergarten here at Long Lake we have a child centered approach striving to achieve strong outcomes. Our developmentally appropriate program meets the needs of each individual student while maintaining a comprehensive curriculum.
We are engaged using Scott Foresman Reading Street Program to begin to learn how to read. Social Studies will be woven into our Reading Street Program. We use Eureka Math to develop math concepts through interactive and visual learning while meeting the needs of all of our students!

I am very excited for the upcoming school year! This will be my sixth year teaching Kindergarten, but it will be my tenth year working in early elementary education. I will provide a safe and encouraging, yet challenging classroom environment.
This is my sixth year teaching Kindergarten and I have been working and learning in the education field for over ten. I live in Raquette Lake, a Hamlet of Long Lake, and I enjoy working here very much. I teach during the year and work on a family owned and operated dinner boat in the summer (the WW Durant). I am very excited about this upcoming year! Each student has a different personality and different ideas and will help each other grow and learn!
