Ms.Shumek
Hello! My name is Ms.Shumek. I attended SUNY New Paltz and received my B.S. in Art Education in Spring 2026!
In my classroom, the process is just as important as the finished artwork. Students are encouraged to take creative risks, learn from mistakes, solve problems, and make choices about their artwork. Throughout the year, students will explore a variety of materials, techniques, artists, cultures, and ways of thinking.
I believe every student can be creative, and my goal is to help students discover that creativity can look different for everyone!
Please feel free to contact me at eshumek@longlakecsd.org.
